sigh. lockdown

sigh.
big sigh
looks like they'll be locking down my work place and deviant art won't be accessible very often. This SUCKs. it means I'll be here even less than I have been for the last month - and miss even more.

I haven't been on DA since last Thurs... and whoa. I suspect I'm watching waaaaaaay too many people. 400 deviations? whoa. this should take me about 5 days to look through... so I probably am going to miss a LOT.

I'm hoping to still get on here once in a while. Maybe pick up a wireless connection at lunch - but there's no way I can comment very often, which makes me really sad. There is some incredible work here ... and i love getting on to DA. Unfortunately I share my connection at home with my husband... and one computer + 2 people = a bit of a struggle.

I'll try and get here at least once a week, but it still makes me sad.

i'm prob going to see if i can figure out a way to get through the firewall to another machine and then pop back here once in a while. Or kneel on my husband's throat and wrestle him away from the computer. lol.
but he's much bigger than me...

its kind of tough...
the top 3 reasons:
1. i'm usually making jewelry til about 8:30pm if i can.
2. i've got 4 short stories I'm trying to finish and get submitted and 3 novels i'm working on (kk, 1 finished first draft, 2 that are 50% written)... so if i start online I find I don't write as much. Yes... i need more discpline. alas, i don't seem good at it.
3. since my laptop died a slow, sad death - I'm sharing my computer with my husband and the "online" time is a bit of a fight.

since i'm up at 6:30am every day, I don't think i can get up earlier nor stay up later...
there just needs to be extra hours you know? :D
