So this is what I did on the weekend. LOL. hunched over a desk steampunking out this sterling silver bee that I'd bought from a vintage shop a while back. She's got screws, gears and a tiny watch hand for detail. Off the side are 2 beautiful watch parts with tiny tiny spiders (again more sterling silver).
I've had an idea for a steampunk story that maybe one day I'll figure out how to write. Its going to be about an insect court - in particular the take over of a new Queen to the Bee Queen's throne. One more thing to add to the list of things to do.
Now, the chain was a bit of insanity. I don't know how long I've had the dark parts - which have little white rhinestones in them. I took apart a few other chains until I found a pattern I liked enough. That took far too long, but I think it is worth it. Like most of the chains I do - its adjustable... so can fit most people quite well. At the end is a small weighted drop.
yeah... its a weird idea. I've written about 500 words of it. Just enough to remind me of what it is about. Right now I'm trying to finish a few other short stories... then I might get a chance to work on it.
Haha, at least you finish things you start! XD My PC is full of stories I started and never finished; it's rare I actually manage to finish writing something I start.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
