Description

Intricate Cyborg Bones - Cyberpunk meets Steampunk jewelry - a limited edition jawbone necklace
Continuing my infatuation with The TERMINATOR... movies 1&2 (3rd one sucked ass) and The Sarah Conner chronicles...

I really love working with bones, natural things, and metal. sooo this is just perfect. I'm also working on another skull - haven't really finished the first one yet. I need to buy a shadow box...and they are so expensive! And then, prob no one will buy it so I'll end up hanging it in my house. No telling how many hours will be in it when i'm done.

Anyway, this is in a limited edition series of my cyborg Jaw necklaces. In this necklace I hope to share my love of science fiction, horror and steampunk in one necklace. I always loved the idea of cyborgs - part human and part machine... so why not cyborg animals too?

Half this piece is a jawbone and the other half is part of a brass Elgin pocketwatch. You can see the engraving in the macro photo I provided - and as well have a look at the beautiful damskeening that is on it (that is the patterning that is in the metal). As you can see the one side is more decorated and it is numbered as well.

This little jawbone comes from a Mink. Its not very big jaw as you can well imagine - this piece from brass metal tip to the bottom of the jaw is only about 4.3 cm (1.7inches) long.
