Sarah, a Terminator called...
he wants his eye back.

=============

I'm starting to feel better. Made this on the weekend but haven't done much since. It's not quite finished. I'm not sure if it should be a brooch or a pendant? any thoughts?

Yeah, if Sarah Conner and I were hanging out I'd be making Terminator Jewelry. lol.

So, finally I've gotten to make a piece of jewelry that is more "cyberpunk" then steampunk. It features a little "terminator eye"... you'll have to see the "detail" to really see it better.

I kept all the colours pretty much steel. Its actually mades me want to find some more stainless steel / chromed cases.

I've not decided yet.... it could be brooch. It could be a pendant - it could hang "upside down" (there really isn't any right side up to be honest)... and hang from the gear at the top. Or I can glue a back to it. I'm just not keen on brooch-pendants... they rarely sit flat as necklaces.

i love how you can see the gears in it. i like the idea of adding chains on either side of it and turning it into a necklace.

yup! that's kind of what I've been thinking. kind of at the top where once the band joined the watch. It would be just the place. It also would be easy to remove if someone wanted it made into a brooch. It's fairly large... 4cm across x 4.7cm to the bottom of the gear. might be too big for some people to wear.

bigger than many of my things. that's why i'm thinking a brooch. It would look awesome on a jacket or a coat. but *i* would wear it as a necklace.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better.
Personally, I would make it into a necklace rather than a brooch, but I've never been one to wear brooches.
I think it'd look great on a choker or short necklace.

I'll have to give it a try. I'd not thought of a choker................ oooh. now suddenly I'm thinking of all the chokers I could make. O-O... ! oh! oh

brain explodes!

"OH. You know what we should do? We should go in there and put a ROMANCE novel in their BIOGRAPHY section. THAT would show them!"
